• Dad: What was that Cum Laude thing about?
  • Me: Those are for people who take classes in some different subjects, and who get good grades.
  • Dad: Oh. I just saw your name under Latin Honors and I thought it was because you're Latin American.

packing means asking yourself how much sentimental value does a gift you don’t particularly like, from someone who has talked so much shit about you she could start a fertilizer busineness, have?

i mean, not owning this, for me, means forgetting her, or forgetting to remember her whenever i see it or touch it. it also means less space for that cool shirt in my two suitcases.

if you follow the paintbrush with your eyes while not moving your head, it forces you to use emdr which is a therapeutic technique to calm anxiety/panic. watching fish swim causes the same effect.

I don’t have a favorite post on Tumblr, I don’t have things that I ‘always’ reblog.

But this is one thing I love seeing on my dash, I love having it on my blog, it really helps to calm me down and its amazing.

well this came on my dash at the right time

But love is impossible and it goes on
despite the impossible. You’re the muscle
I cut from the bone and still the bone
remembers, still it wants (so much, it wants)
the flesh back, the real thing,
if only to rail against it, if only
to argue and fight, if only to miss
a solve-able absence.

It’s not because I’m competing with you, it’s that when you act like that I don’t want to be associated with you

I realized last night that there are no people I’m more critical than female-at-birth masculine folks. I mean, there’s some folks that I love and respect so, so much, and with whom I can breathe a little easier. But there’s some that I’m just like…so you were probably raised to be feminine, but you are masculine and that’s great. It’s an interesting journey, trying to “be who you are” or just learn what way of expressing yourself is most fitting for you. But of ALL possible masculinities, some that can be anti-misogynist/oppressive, loving, tender and rough, and powerful, you went with that? One that makes most people cringe when they encounter it  in cismen?

Oooookayyyyyyy. I guess it’s your gender and you do it however you want, but I don’t really wanna do the whole “you’re an asshole but we both are masculine so I’ll stand by you” thing. I’m down for being a brother to someone, and I think brotherhood can be one of the sweetest things in life. However, I am not down to be your “bro”, so…can you not?
